40 HOURS OF FEAR – INFLUENCER’S DIGITAL ARREST HORROR

🚨 Watch This Before You Become the Next Target! 🚨

We recently collaborated with ADG Vishwas Nangre Patil Sir, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Maharashtra Police on an eye-opening video series #DigitalArrest scams. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it NOW!

Case Study: Ankush Bahuguna’s Terrifying Experience

Even an educated, social media-savvy influencer like Ankush Bahuguna fell victim to this terrifying Digital Detention scam. He endured over 40 hours of intense psychological manipulation, convinced that he was under investigation. While he almost made financial transfers, his transactions failed—saving him from financial loss.

What saved him? His friends’ vigilance. They noticed something was off, kept checking in, and even physically showed up—proving how crucial it is to have a strong support system.

Why Is This Happening?

🔹 Scammers use AI, deepfake technology, and impersonation tactics to seem like real law enforcement.
🔹 They access your Aadhar card, bank details, and share portfolios to build credibility.
🔹 Victims face severe psychological pressure, making decisions they never would otherwise.

How the Scam Works:

✅ Fraudsters pose as police officers using deepfake videos, fake IDs, and uniformed setups.
✅ They claim you’re under investigation or that a FedEx parcel in your name contains illegal items.
✅ They force victims into online interrogations via Skype or WhatsApp, monitoring them 24/7.
✅ With access to personal data, they pressure victims into transferring money to a fake “RBI” account.
✅ Victims are isolated from family, unable to leave home, and kept in a constant state of fear.
✅ By the time they realize the truth, their savings are gone.

How to Stay Safe from Digital Detention:

🛑 Never trust unknown numbers – especially WhatsApp calls from strangers.
📞 Hang up immediately on automated IVR calls claiming you’re under investigation.
🚫 Never share personal information like bank details, OTPs, or share portfolios.
📢 Report fraud ASAP – Call 1930 or visit your nearest cyber cell.
🔑 Create a family safe word to verify emergencies and avoid scams.
👀 Have someone check on you if you behave unusually or go silent.
🏦 Alert your bank to block suspicious activity instantly.
❌ No real police officer will EVER ask for money transfers.

The Growing Threat

This isn’t just happening to celebrities—hundreds of cases emerge daily. Even professors, industrialists, and journalists have fallen victim. It’s not just about losing money; it’s about being emotionally trapped.

Take Action NOW!

🔹 Educate yourself and your family—especially children and elderly members.
🔹 Share this video to spread awareness—your one action could save someone’s life savings!
🔹 Stay informed, stay vigilant, and stay safe.
