Internet has helped each one of us in some way during the pandemic. It has also led to increased use of social media for news, entertainment, education and more. However, are we using social media responsibly in Covid19?

 

Often, we share information/ news in a hurry without verifying it’s source or truthfulness, this can lead to anxiety triggers in those who consume it. We might even share religious hate or violence inciting messages which are not just unlawful, punishable & wrong, they are also ethically incorrect that at a time of so much stress, we cause any unrest.

We run India’s only multilingual AI chat helpline for cyber safety. This helpline is currently available in Hindi & English on our website. It can be accessed from any internet enabled device. You can chat here anonymously, fearlessly.

 

We do not track ISPs unless you trigger an SOS to Akancha in any crisis situation.
