DCP Manjunath Singe, Mumbai Police shares the steps taken by city police specifically in regards to addressing complaints of women & children. He says that it is indeed true that Mumbai Police, Your Police.

There are women police officers at key police stations, children are spoken to by officers in civil attire as per the guidelines, first responders are sensitized on dealing with empathy.

DCP Sir also tells us that often impressions are formed by hearsay and what we read in media. He reassures that Mumbai Police is working hard to ensure that all those who approach them in any unfortunate circumstances are given complete support.

We run India’s only multilingual AI chat helpline for cyber safety. This helpline is currently available in Hindi & English on our website. It can be accessed from any internet enabled device. You can chat here anonymously, fearlessly.
